Effects observed in this study:

Better overall appearance: 37% and 47% of subjects rated their skin to be much improved or improved following treatment. Clinical investigators also considered 58% of subjects to have improved skin post-treatment.

Smoothing effect: The degree of wrinkling, skin roughness and other surface irregularities improved significantly according to computer image analysis of skin surface impressions. Fine wrinkling, coarse rhytids and tactile roughness showed more improvement than vehicle in 84%, 68% and 37% of subjects, respectively, according to clinical assessment.

Tightening effect: Skin laxity (looseness) improved to a greater extent on active treatment compared to vehicle in 47% of subjects.

Lightening effect: Mottled pigmentation and skin yellowing / sallowness were significantly more improved with active treatment compared to vehicle in 32% and 26% of subjects.
